Regarding websites, flash animation can be good and bad. Some websites are constructed entirely in flash animation. They look real nice to the naked eye but not so nice to the search engine robots and crawlers. Bots and crawlers are like spiders searching the web for meaty content. The easier your website is to crawl, the quicker your product or service can be found. Flash animation is not crawler friendly so be sure that your site contains a site map so google can go ga-ga and place you within the top rankings.
